Miners of Sangroud, northern Iran have been holding protest gatherings since last month, to oppose the shutdown of the mines.
These miners, who represent some 300 Sangroud miners, find their job and livelihood in danger if the plan to stop the project goes through.
The protests have been going on since last year and they say they will continue until guarantees are provided.   .
