Workers of the Metal Industry Company in Iran staged a protest gathering outside the mullahs’ Majlis (parliament) in Tehran, demanding four months of delayed and unpaid salaries.
In other news, the municipality workers of the city of Khoramshahr (SW Iran) on Tuesday staged a protest gathering for the second consecutive day. They are also demanding six months of unpaid wages, threatening to continue their protests in the coming days by blocking the city entrance.
Furthermore, workers of the Khuzestan Pipe Factory on Monday staged a protest gathering outside the company building in the southwestern city of Ahvaz. They gathered in protest of not receiving their salaries for the past 27 months.
