Iran: Meli Bank must pay $17 million in terrorism compensation

The mullahs’ regime responded on Saturday, August 29th on state-run TV to a US federal court ruling to pay compensation to the families of victims who died as a result of this regime’s terrorist attacks.
“The US federal court issued a ruling ordering Iran’s Meli Bank to pay compensation for a number of American families.
“Based on this ruling Bank Meli must provide $17 million as compensation to the families of the victims of a number of terrorism events, and this money will be paid from Iran’s unfrozen assets in San Francisco.
“US appeals court officials claimed Iran has provided financial support for these terrorist attacks that were carried out years ago in west Asia.
“Asharq al-Awsat daily wrote in this regard: US government sources said the end of the nuclear negotiations will not have any effect on the vote and ruling issued by the appeals court.”
