
Tehran:
In recent Iran news, a group of residents in Tehran’s 5th district on Monday, July 21st, protested changes made to a construction site. They rallied and held placards preventing the entrance of cement trucks into the site. The demonstrators protested the construction of this site and demanded a complete and unconditional halt.

Aslaviye:
Conract workers of the Aslaviye complex in the South Pars district are continuing their strike for not receiving their pensions during the past 14 months. According to the state-run ILNA news agency the number of these protesting workers has reached around 500 and in the past weeks they have rallied twice outside the official employment offices in the area. Currently they are holding gatherings in their camps and intend to continue until their demands are met.
