Iran: large protest gathering in Tehran

Iran, May 20, 2017— People gathered in Vali-e Asr Square chanting “Mullah Raisi is the executioner of thousands of political prisoner in 1988”

More than 2,000 people gathered in Vali-e Asr Square on Saturday evening to show their opposition to the sham presidential elections took place on Friday in Iran.
There were also large pockets of protesters gathered in front of the City Theater located on the Vali-e Asr Square in the Iranian capital city Tehran.

According to PMOI/MEK correspondents stationed on Vali-e Asr Sq. the suppressive State Security forces and Basij militias raided the gathering using tear gas to disperse the crowd who had come from different parts of the city to this Sq. to show their anger and frustration at the mullahs repressive and fundamental regime.
