INTV, 18 Oct 2013 – People of the city of Marivan in Iranian Kurdistan, especially the women, staged a protest rally on Tuesday, October 15th, three days after the murder of female student Sahar Chubini. She was a student studying nursing in the Hamedan Medical Sciences University.
This march was staged in the city’s Daraei Square where people protested the suspicious murder of this young woman. The family of this student announced at the end of the rally that the death of their daughter was not a suicide as the regime had earlier announced, stressing their daughter was murdered.
