Hundreds of ‘Haft Tape’ sugarcane workers ended their strike after three days when their demands were finally met.
On Thursday, July 30th these workers – on strike since Tuesday, July 28th in all branches of the factory – were able to receive their delayed paychecks.
This factory belongs to the Revolutionary Guards and during the three days of their strike the factory director had resorted to various types of threats and vicious behavior towards the workers. However, the workers resisted and remained united, forcing the regime to give in to their demands and provide them with their deserved paychecks.
