A number of Shadegan city residents staged a protest gathering in front of Ahwaz Water Organization to protest the lack of water resources in their region. Shadegan is city in Khuzestan located southern of Iran.
The protesters raised a big sign saying: we the farmers of Shadegan city are suffering water shortage.
The mullahs’ regime has changed the pathway, many years ago of the stream of water away from this region to Rafsanjan, which is another district. And this anti-people plundering scheme is one reason behind drying out of Shadegan’s lagoon which irrigates most of the farming lands in this region.
