Iran Khodro Company bus drivers on strike

A number of Iran Khodro Company bus drivers have been on strike since Thursday night, July 3rd, protesting their delayed paychecks. This strike was held in the Iran Khodro Company terminal and the drivers refused to provide any services.


In other news, a group of Isfahan University students on Wednesday, July 2nd, held a gathering protesting the passing of an impunity bill by the regime’s Majlis (parliament) for state militia Bassij members.
The protesting students said this bill has been named in such a way for ordinary people to not notice that it provides impunity to a bunch of hooligans to do whatever they wish.


A group of people in the city of Farsan (near Isfahan) rallied at 8 am on Friday, July 2nd, protesting the arrest of a group of Bakhtiari political activists by Ministry of Intelligence agents. This demonstration continued for two hours, blocking the road between Farsan and Shahr-e Kord.
Thousands of passengers were delayed after this road was closed. The criminal Ministry of Intelligence agents had raided the villages of ‘Dah Cheshme’ and ‘Jonaghal’, and the city of Farsan, arresting a large number of Bakhtiari political activists.


A group of livestock owners and veterinarians in Iran’s Chahar Mahal & Bakhtiari Province held a gathering on Friday, July 2nd, protesting their livestock being killed as a result of bad vaccines.
Hundreds of animals have fallen dead following the distribution of thousands of expired Chinese-made animal vaccines. The protesters said the vaccines were out of date but it is not obvious where the labels were changed and then given to the livestock owners and veterinarians.
