Iran: Kangaroo court to be held for civil activist in March

The arraignment hearing has been set for the second case of civil activist Ismaeel Ahmadi Ragheb for March 8. He has been charged with “disrupting public order” for taking part in civil peaceful rallies. This case is related to his arrest at a rally of civil activists in Tehran’s Vanak Square.
Ahmadi Raghem has another case that has been postponed to February 16. His accusation in this case has been stated as “propaganda against the state”. Regarding this case the security police summoned him back in June 2015, and he was afterwards summoned to the Shahriar revolution court in November.
