Iran: Justice Ministry attorney returned back to prison

An attorney working on human rights cases and political prisoners, Abdulfattah Sultani was detained again and sent back to Ward 350 of the notorious Evin Prison after a short leave from a previous detention. He was briefly released after spending 4 years and 4 months behind bars. This political prisoner and a human rights lawyers, was arrested on September 10, 2011 and sentenced to 18 years behind bars and a 20 year ban of practicing law for receiving the Nuremburg Human Rights Award in Germany, giving interviews to media outlets on the case of his clients, and taking part in the formation of the Center of Human Rights Lawyers. Sultani is suffering from heart and blood pressures problems, and taken many times to the prison clinic.
