A number of farmers owning lands on the banks of the Zayandeh-rood river gathered in front of Isfahan Irrigation ministry protesting the drying of the river due to government faulty policies. They raised placards with handwritten signs reading anti-government slogans.
Thirty protesters were participating in this rally who were representing other farmers as well. They protested against the policies which has led to the dryness of the river which is the only source of water for irrigating their lands.
