Isfahan’s Friday Prayer Imam (preacher) has warned university professors of the same fate as of the British author, Salman Rushdi.
He threatened those university professors of facing  a Fatwa of death just like what has been haunting the British author after the Islamic regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini issued a death fatwa for Rushdi.
“Some professors in their classrooms are neglecting the path of the Islamic revolution, and thus insulting values of the state and revolution! They should know if they are not directed to the right path they will face the punishment issued by [Khomeini] for Salman Rushdie, which was only the tip of the iceberg,” said Abutorabi.
Khomeini issued a fatwa to have Salman Rushdie killed after authoring the book, “Satan’s verses”. Prior to this a large number of Iranian intellectuals were killed during the chain murders in the 1990s, all charged with being dissenters.
