Iran: Isfahan bazaar merchants refusing to pay taxes

Storeowners in Isfahan’s traditional bazaar are refusing to pay taxes and tax fines. The mullahs’ regime has sealed their stores in response.
According to incoming reports one of these storeowners said it has been one week since these stores have been sealed.
“When we went to pay last year’s taxes we saw that that tax fines are more than the taxes themselves. Therefore, we weren’t able to pay the taxes and government agents sealed our stores on the charge of not paying our taxes. A number of other stores were also closed in Isfahan during the past week.
