Iran: increasing popular protests against regime’s incompetence

Khoram Abad: Villagers around Khoram Abad rallied on Wednesday, February 5th, protesting the Iranian regime’s incompetence in solving their problems. Due to the cold weather and snowfall they are facing serious problems such as all roadways to their homes being blocked, they said. Roads and other paths are full of snow, and they don’t have any drinking water and the water pipes are literally frozen, they continued. The villagers are protesting the fact that no one is seeing into their problems, saying whatever help we are asking government organs we get no responses.

Zanjan: Zanjan University students are protesting shortage of education supplies, saying there are only 50 computers for the 1,000 students of this college. Internet usage is very limited and the hours are very few, they added. Other supplies in this university, including laboratories, are also very limited.

Bandar Abbas: The Iranian regime continues to execute people despite all the existing problems in this city. On the morning of Thursday, February 6th, two inmates were hanged in this city while the regime’s henchmen in a mass execution on Wednesday, February 5th, sent 15 inmates to the gallows in Chabahar Prison.
