State media reported of a Qesas (an eye for an eye punishment in the mullahs’ judicial system) sentence in Gohardasht Prison. The mullahs’ regime blinded a man with pouring acid in to his eyes as a punishment for a crime he had perpetrated before.
A judge assigned to this case is reported to have said that no doctor was prepared and willing to carry this punishment and they all had refused to blind the man. But the sentence3 was carried out despite public anger and physicians’ refusal.
