Iran, Isfahan, March 10, 2018 – Eyewitness reports and local activists say that more than a hundred residents of Isfahan, Central Iran, gathered on Saturday, March 10th at the iconic site of Khajoo Bridge. They gathered in support of protesting farmers of the city of Varzaneh, a suburb of Isfahan, who clashed with the security forces on Friday after they demanded the right to have share of irrigation water.
Demonstrators in Khajoo Bridge condemned the suppression of protesting farmers by the repressive government agents.
