Hassan Taffah, an 86-year old prison detained in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran, was transferred to a hospital outside of prison on Saturday, September 19. However, hospital officials refused to accept him into the facility and this old prisoner was returned to Gohardasht Prison that night.
These harassments are taking place while this frail prisoner is suffering from blood cancer.
