Protests staged by Haft Tappe Sugar Cane Company workers continues to this day. The protest rally of hundreds of fed up workers continued on March 8th outside the Haft Tappe Industry & Agricultural Complex. These workers were protesting privatization plans and delays in receiving their paychecks.
