
Political prisoners Iraj Hatami and Farid Azmude, on hunger strike from March 13th to this day in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran, entered their 13th day of hunger strike on Saturday, March 26th.
Protesting their exile in the ward of ordinary criminals they demanded their return to the ward of political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison. Authorities have met with these prisoners in the past few days, providing promises to lure them to end their hunger strike. However, these two political prisoners have said they will continue their hunger strike until they are returned to the political prisoners ward.
The physical conditions of both of these political prisoners is reported to be weak and both suffering from low blood pressure.
