Fallowing weeks of solitary confinement in intelligence ministry prison, Mohammad-Reza Pour-Shajar, a former political prisoner and blogger is back in Gohardasht prison again. He was arrested on Sept. 30th on his way to Urumia and was taken to the solitary cells of Intelligence Ministry for interrogation where he was severely beaten and tortured for several weeks.
Mohammad-Reza Pour-Shajari was first arrested back in September of 2010 for his memos and blog activities and underwent 8 months of hardship and torture in the Intelligence Ministry prison. He was accused of “Propaganda against the regime” and “insulting Khamenei” and was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment.
He was released on 23 August 2014 after his prison term was over, but was re-arrested on 30, Sept. 2014 and has been in solitary during this time.
