Iran: forged court cases to retry political prisoners

The inhumane clerical regime ruling Iran is forging cases in order to retry political prisoners. Reports from Evin Prison indicate the mullahs’ regime intends to retry Mr. Ali Moezi, a relative of a number of Ashraf residents.
Suffering from cancer and the regime blocking his access to medial treatment, Ali Moezi’s case is in the hands of the criminal judge Salavati under charges of moharabe (enmity against God) and supporting the PMOI. He was arrested and sentenced to two years behind bars in the past for visiting his children in Camp Ashraf. The mullahs’ have also banned any visits for this political prisoner.

Reports from inside Iran also indicate political prisoner Arjang Davoudi was severely beaten during his transfer to Bandar Abbas Prison, southern Iran. For this teacher, the regime’s judges have also raised moharebe charges against him for his effective activities and supporting the PMOI. Prison officials by the names of Meqdad Alawi and Hassani are interrogating this political prisoner.
