Iran: Fired employees gather outside Ministry of Road and Transportation office

Reports indicate that fired employees of the Ministry of Road and Transportation staged a protest gathering outside the ministry office in Tehran on Tuesday morning, with specialized technicians and others all taking part.
“Following the merger of the two enormous ministries of Road and Construction with Housing and Urbanism, despite the government’s motto of creating jobs in the millions this year alone, 300 contract employees of one Ministry of Road and Construction sub-company were expelled without prior notice,” the mullahs state-run Asr-e Iran daily reported.
Based on this report, this sub-company informed these 300 employees by placing a note at the entrance of the complex saying they have been fired from work.
