The Iranian regime has transferred all ordinary female prisoners from Evin and Gohardasht prisons to a new facility located in Khurin Varamin, south of Tehran. The Khurin Prison was built recently and is specially assigned for female prisoners. The Iranian regime is attempting to relocate prisons outside the cities to keep them out of the public eye and to decrease the possibility of families being able to visit their loved ones in prison.
