According to sources inside Iran a mentally handicap prisoner was hanged early Wednesday morning in Urumia prison. The prisoner who is identified as Ebrahim Choopani was a resident of Mahabad, northern Iran. Ebrahim who was a mentally handicap person had committed a murder during a tribal fight and was charged with murder.
In addition to Ebrahim, 4 other prisoners were also executed on Monday at the same prison. They were identified as Latif Mohammadi, Salaheddin Molaei, Mahmoud Hassan poor and Rashid Alizadeh.
