Iran: environmental concern in most part of the country

Iran’s Environment Protection Bureau Director General, Mohammad Darwish says the environmental conditions in most parts of the country are, as he put it “very sensitive and concerning”.
“If today’s generation doesn’t think about the environment, from now on we have to only look at pictures of the environment,” he said on January 22.
Annihilation and flames in the jungles, the destruction and seizure of natural resources, taking over large bodies of water, lagoons drying, uncontrolled hunting of birds and other wild animals, seizing and destroying mountains for construction projects, destruction of orchards and green areas, water resources becoming contaminated, air pollution, industrial pollution and backwaters are a number of the issues threatening the environment in Iran.
