General Drivers of the special zone in Assalouya, southern Iran, refrained from providing public survives to customers on Thursday, May 28, 2015 in protest to the increase in fuel prices.
They said they wouldn’t provide any services to public unless the bus fare is increased by at least %25. They stressed that their strike would continue.
It has been reported that bus drivers in Assalouya have previously been on strike to demand increase in salary and now that the gas prices have increase, it is a double burden on their shoulders.
