Supplementary reports of Monday’s demonstration in 8 northwestern cities in Iran indicates that a number of youth have been injured and arrested after vicious raid by anti-riot guards.
The demonstration erupted after one of the state run TV stations aired an insulting video of Azari people.
People in a number of other cities including Ardebil, Zanjan, Khoy, Marand, Maragheh and half a dozen others also demonstrated to show their anger and protest to this insulting video. Ethnic Azari people in Tehran also expressed solidarity with this demonstration.
