A group of people in the city of Rasht, northern Iran, protested against oppressive behavior of regime agents and shouted “death to the dictator” in Sabzeh Square on Nov. 16th.
People were gathered to give tribute to Mortezza Pashai, a deceased pop singer, but they were harassed by plainclothes security agents and police. Out of fear of the spread of the protest, regime’s agents raided the gathering and arrested a number of protesters. This made the protesters angry and shouted “death to the dictator”.
