A few days ago there was a report about a needy couple in desperately trying to make ends meet, and the fact that they had resorted to offering to sell their kidneys to provide for their family, and especially their very ill son.
The state-run alef.ir website posted a piece shedding light on just a tip of the iceberg of the poverty and desperate conditions the Iranian people are living in under the despicable mullahs’ regime.
A few days ago there was an ad on a wall written by a couple saying due to their extreme poverty and the need for money to save their child from hunger, the mother and father have decided to each sell one kidney. Their son is suffering from hemophilia and the father has lost a leg due to cancer. He cannot work and no one is helping this family. Therefore, the couple have decided to sell their kidneys so their son can receive medical treatment and their children would not live in poverty…
Finally two individuals from the cities of Ahvaz and Behbahani contacted this family. They said they will pay the price of the kidneys, whatever it may be. The father said we don’t want to beg, we only wanted the city officials to help us, yet they neglected and didn’t pay any attention to us at all. That is why we decided to resolve our problems by selling our kidneys, he added.
