On the verge of the decision to specify minimum wage in Iran for the next Iranian calendar year beginning in March, contract workers warned they will not accept wages less than the inflation line.
The Contract Workers Union issued a statement expressing concern over the status quo of workers’ families and said minimum wage for the next Iranian calendar year must not be less than the poverty line, or the food basket allocated for workers’ families.
