The entire political prisoners’ ward is on hunger strike. This mass hunger strike in Urunia prison, northwest of Iran started since Thursday morning Nov. 20th in protest to moving common criminals to ward 12 which is only used for political prisoners and prisoners of conscious. This is a plot by Urumia prison authorities to intimidate and pressure political prisoners and to silence them.
