Dozens of villages of Kermanshah Province in western Iran, consisting of around 200 families, are witnessing major water shortages these days and the situation is deteriorating.
Water wells and fountains are drying, and regime officials are completely neglecting these people, adding insult to injury.
The main occupation of the village residents is agriculture and ranching herds, and with the wells drying the situation is completely deteriorating, making life intolerable.
Hundreds of cattle and sheep are dying, and the locals are forced to sell them. The famers are losing much of their lands. Water is being provided by trucks once every 7 days, and this amount of water is not fit for people to provide for their needs.
