Iran: Central Bank admits inflation increase to 22.9%

The Iranian regime’s Central Bank once again reported an increase of inflation across the country, officially announcing the current rates at 22.9%., the state-run Asr-e Iran daily reported.
“With an increase of 0.5%, inflation has risen from 22.4 to 22.9%,” said Bahmani, head of the Iranian regime Central Bank. “This increase is more related to the surge in prices of various fundamental goods during the past months. This price hike has caused the 0.5% rise in inflation in comparison to last month.”
It should be noted that the mullahs’ regime refrains from reporting the actual economic statistics.
