The cabinet of Hassan Rouhani in Iran has raised the price of bread since late August in the city of Isfahan, all without any prior notice.
One specific type of bread now costs 20 to 25% more. This price hike has raised protests amongst Isfahan locals and bakeries.
Rouhani’s cabinet has forced the bakeries to sell only one type of bread at market price.
