INTV, 20 Oct 2013 – Youths in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas demonstrated near the city’s cemetery, protesting the regime’s plan to break up the city of Parsian from Hormozgan Province.
According to other news a group of youth in this city gathered and expressed their anger on the plan to break up their province. Fearing this rally would continue, State Security Force units attacked the youth.
In yet another protest rally in Bandar Abbas the people chanted slogans against the representative of the provinces’ governor and threw plastic water bottles at him. State Security Force units quickly entered the scene and began dispersing the crowd. Reports indicate that on Friday the regime’s repressive police also arrested 35 protesting youths in Bandar Abbas.
