Iran: Baha’i minorities attacked by regime militias

Unknown armed men on the afternoon of Friday, August 21 began cutting 20-year old trees of a cemetery belonging to the Baha’i minority in the city of Urumieh in northwestern Iran.
“These individuals were riding military vehicles belonging to the state Bassij paramilitary force,” an informed source said.
Furthermore, these militants were seen writing slogans on the residential homes of Baha’i citizens in Urumieh, including “Death to the Arrogance”, “Death to Baha’is” and “Viva Islam”.
