Iran attempting to cloak its crimes in Yemen, top diplomat says

Yemen Foreign Minister Dr. Riad al-Yassin told Asharq Al Awast on Friday the smuggling operations busted by Arab coalition forces last Saturday included the transfer of missiles and anti-tank man-pods confiscated in two ships, Jihan 1 and Jihand 2.
Iran officials in their remarks are attempting to cloak their crimes regarding the smuggling of these items and backing the Houthis as their allies in Yemen because the type of weapons confiscated by the Arab coalition are nothing unfamiliar for the Yemenis during the long years of smuggling and what has been confiscated.
Dr. Yassin also referred to this subject that Iran is attempting to deny any responsibility in this regard and use civilians as human shields to advance their own plans.
Yemen’s top diplomat reiterated most of the heavy weapons used by the Houthis and those loyal to the ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah in their attack on Sana’a and other cities have caused much destruction in the infrastructure, and these weapons are in line with those confiscated in the seas heading for the Houthis.
