The anti-riot Guards in Minab Central Prison raided various wards of the prison and scattered the prisoners’ belongings during a search operation in the ward. This raid by the suppressive agents was carried out under the pretext of year end search and cleansing. According to the prison warden, all wards and inmate cells must be searched and cleaned up before the current Iranian year ends. The Iranian New Year starts on the first day of spring, March 20th.
The regime’s henchmen who themselves are the core perpetrator of entering narcotics inside prisons, ignore the presence of narcotics in the cells and are mostly concentrating on mobiles and other communicating capable instruments inside the wards.
