The Iranian regime’s state-run Arman daily wrote in its editorial on Thursday, September 11th, shedding light on the trade contracts signed recently between Rouhani’s government and Russia.
“This time around, after the experience regarding relations with China and the endless and huge resources of the Chinese party in trading with Iran, which ended in a completely one-sided issue in favor of China, one can expect that in today’s conditions no geopolitical balance will be placed with Russia either.”
The writer of this editorial described the only profit or benefit of this deal for the Iranian regime as just creating “opportunities to bargain better and engage with not only Russia and China, but also European countries and the US.”
