Iran: acid attackers are free, but civil activists are in jail

Qazvin University students protest on Monday against acid attacks in the country. They chanted antigovernment slogans and called on other students around the country to join their voices in condemning and protesting this vicious act. Among their chants was “acid attack is crime, students must support them.”
In a statement at the end of their protest they said “More than one month has passed, but none of the perpetrators have been arrested. The culprits are walking freely on the streets frightens the people and force them to stay home. They called for a prompt action on the part of the security forces and asked for the punishment of the culprits.
They also said that while these vicious animals are freely walking on the streets, civil activists and protesters to acid attacks are spending time in jail.
