In an interview with Fox News, senior Republican figure US Senator John McCain said Iran is a threat to world peace and an the organizer of world terrorism, adding the United States must reassess and change its strategy vis-à-vis this regime.
Time has come for us to stop Iran because it’s not just the issue of nuclear weaponry that this regime is pursuing, in fact it is responsible for organizing global terrorism across the world, McCain added.
Iran threatens peace and stability and therefore we must pursue a strategy to confront it, he said.
To this day Iran has sent tens of thousands of missiles and equipment for Hezbollah in Lebanon, McCain continued. These measures will continue and centrifuges will continue to spin unless this regime sees it has to pay a heavy price for its actions, the senior Republican concluded.
