Iran, April 3, 2018 – A factory worker from the Behshahr company in the Kraj highway, northwest of Iranian capital, Tehran, set several vehicles on fire, and went to the sixth floor of a building to commit suicide, in protest to his layoff from work.
Alireza Fathi, a regime official confirmed the news and told reporters: “This worker entered his former work building at 3 am today, and after setting fire on several vehicles, went to the sixth floor of the building to jump and commit suicide, but was saved by a rescue team”. Psychological pressure caused by his layoff and family issues were cited as the cause.
