Political prisoner Asghar Mahmoudi has been transferred from Gonabad Prison to Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, according to news reported from inside Iran.  

This prisoner was amongst those arrested back in the 1980s for the “charges” of supporting the opposition, People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). This prisoner has a long history of suffering from chronic illnesses while behind bars.
