
Zahedan Central Prison guards roughed up a prisoner in after he criticized the situation inside the ward. The guards in the Zahedan Central Prison which is located in the harsh climate of southeastern Iran resorted to force and moved this Baluchi prisoner, who is identified as Malang Mirshah to the solitary where he was left for two days without any food or water.
This Baluchi citizen was beaten while held in the quarantine ward and his entire body was wounded, swollen and left bloody. Bad treatment by prison officials led to this prisoner seeing his conditions deteriorate to a point that he was finally transferred to the prison clinic on a wheelchair.
The conditions of Malang Mirshah, 46, is so dire that prison physicians consider him facing death, reports indicate. It has been four months that this prisoner’s four year prison term has come to an end and yet the regime’s judiciary apparatus are refusing to release him.
