The mullahs ruling Iran on Monday transferred 9 death row inmates to solitary confinement in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran, in preparation for their executions.
These prisoners were Mohammad Bik Mohammadi, Majiv Javan Khalil-pour, Morteza Bayat, Mohammad Mikaeelzadeh, Hamidreza Azhdari, Alireza Rahimi, Dariush Shirazi, Mohammad Aziz Abadi and Mohammad Bigi.
Reports indicate their executions are scheduled to take place early Wednesday morning in Gohardasht Prison.
