More than 800 workers of the East Alborz mines in the city of Damghan rallied on Saturday, February 20th, blocking the Tehran-Mashhad international highway and demanding their delayed paychecks.
This protest rally continued for a few hours and the workers said they will resort to different methods of protests in the coming weeks if their demands are not responded to.
