Iran: 8 prisoners in threat of imminent execution

According to reports from informed sources in Gohardasht prison, northwest of Tehran, 8 prisoners on death row were moved to the solitary confinement on Monday, April 11, for imminent execution.
These prisoners have been identified as Ebad Mohammadi, Javad Sadeghi, Mehdi Kahe, Mostafa Jalali, Mohammad-javad Mozaffari, Hossein Moien-far, Mohammad Zareie and Hamzeh Dowlat-Abadi. The report says these 8 prisoners are facing imminent execution.
Iran regime has the highest number of execution per capita in the world and has been identified by rights’ groups as the worst country when it comes to execution. In Iran, as it has been customarily since the establishment of the Islamic Republic, prisoners who are on death row spend their last night before being killed in a solitary confinement.
