
On Saturday, February 13th the cities of western Iran witnessed 5 series of protests and strikes.
Bisotun – A group of workers laid off from the Bisotun Dairy Company rallied at the company site protesting being suddenly laid off and left in limbo. They are demanding returning to work immediately.
In Sanandaj; a group of workers of the “Fajr Shahou” service company, in contract with the Sanandaj Communications Company, rallied once again in the city’s Enghelab Avenue demanding their paychecks and overtime pay for the past three months.
Kermanshah: A group of workers of the West Kavian Burrow Company protested not receiving their paychecks for the past three months. They staged a protest rally in the Faraman industrial complex and sought their demands be addressed.
A group of “Edalat” stockholders in Kermanshah rallied for the second time outside the company office demanding answers to their limbo status.
Kermanshah: A group of metal sellers protested not receiving licenses for work and not having their previous work permits extended. This rally was held outside the metal sellers union in the Ashrafi Isfahani Avenue.
