Five prisoners were hanged in Rasht Central Prison, northern Iran, according to the Gilan Province judiciary public relations office.
The charges raised against these individuals were reported as drug-related and murder.
The identities of the deceased are H.F., 34; R.K., 34; J.M., 38; A.R., 35; and A.N., 43.
